Christian Horner, the Red Bull Racing boss is quite confident that the 2012 Red Bull F1 Car will be able to win the 2012 Melbourne Grand Prix. Mark Webber has everything required to win at Albert Park. The all new 2012 Red Bull F1 Car dubbed RB8 has performed very well during testing and will give Webber every chance at winning.

Webber placed 5th in 2002, 2005 and last year. His teammate Sebastian Vettel will of course do very well this year as well. Late aerodynamic tweaking has shown great results in official testing. One major change, was the exhaust being moved as forward as possible. Every team is doing their best to tweak their F1 car so they can shave a few milliseconds off each turn.

Vettel had 11 victories last year, while Mark Webber just had one Grand Prix win. Mark is getting quite old at 35 and he might be out of touch this year. Vettel will try to better himself this year with the all new RB8.

One thing for sure is that Horner has put his best drivers and cars forward this year. He will be delighted with 10+ GP wins this year. It is quite possible, with his new improved F1 car and two very great drivers. Ferrari will want to regain the title and so will other teams.

The Formula 1 Qantas Australian Grand Prix kicks off soon and tickets are selling fast. It will be held at Melbourne, Albert Park between the dates of 15-18th of March 2012. Don’t miss out for your chance to see the fastest cars zooming around the race track.
